I have been involved in martial arts since I was 16. However it wasn’t until I was in my early 20’s that I discovered Jiu Jitsu and how it was not only an incredibly effective martial art and form of self defense but also just how fun and addictive the practice of it is.
I began his journey in Jiu Jitsu training under Tim Shears of Gracie Barra Vancouver and it was here that in 2012 he earned the rank of black belt. After parting ways with Gracie Barra in 2013 I then went out on my own to open “Pacific Top Team Richmond” where he dedicated myself to teaching Jiu Jitsu full time over the next 8 years. Since day one I’ve never lost my passion for Jiu Jitsu and I’m always inspired to see others progress, their success drives me to always be improving both technically in the art and as an instructor to better help others reach their potential.
